Dr. J Alsousou MD, LMSSA Lon, MRCS D.Phil Fellow University of Oxford UK I am an orthopaedic surgeon who has trained and worked in the UK for the last 15 years. However, my roots belongs to Dair Atiah where I lived and went to school. I am currently a PhD fellow at the University of Oxford, Oxford and orthopaedic surgeon. My experience is mainly related to trauma and regenerative therapy. I established this site in 1999, which was a pioneer site in Syria. The site still holds a record number of visitors with 800-1500 unique visitors daily. I do my best to update every page periodically. Although this task is becoming more and more difficult as I become more busy at work, I have maintained some pages weekly and some on monthly bases. My ethos is that every little step towards modernisation helps. I believe that everyone of us could do something to help the overall progression of humanity towards peaceful and harmonious living. Based on this, I founded this site and supported it since 1999 and encouraged people to contribute. Every contribution to any of the site content was acknowledged accordingly. So, please keep your contributions coming. you can contact me via email: jalsousou@hotmail.com or text 07799077922 or via the website. I am currently working on a project to support few students from Syria to come to the UK for work experience. This will start in the new year and possibly be awarded to students with excellent academic record and may follow an appraisal using specific subject thesis. details of this will be published soon. If you are a medical student and would like to register your interest please email me your CV and a summery of your academic record. I hope you enjoy the site and look forward to your contribution. Best wishes
